The Govie Editor makes it possible to present a 3D model in a way that was previously only possible with programming knowledge. Add camera moves, interactive hotspots, post effects, or lighting setups to quickly create stunning web applications.
Play animations in the 3D model in a controlled manner. Be the director.
Annotations - This makes it easy to label and explain parts of your model.
Hotspots - Can be used as interactive jump labels, as labels or for external links.
Visibilities - objects or groups of objects can be hidden using the Visibility custom property.show and hide can be shown and hidden.
Corporate Design - By means of CSS the design can be adapted to all needs.
Post-Effects - To improve the look of your models, we have added some effects likeDepth of Field, Ambient Shadow, Bloom or Contour Drawing added.
Asset Editor - edit 3D models directly online, assign materials and create animations.
2D text and media -Within a govie, you canadd and design text, images, and videos .
In addition to 3D models, the online text editor can also be used to embed conventional 2D media such as images, text and videos.
Three different Govie types can be created, based on either CAD data, 3D models or 360° images.
Integrate 360° images from 3D data, from phone/Go-Pro or directly with Google Street View
Upload videos or embed via link
Polygon models from model library or created by yourself
Text editor with a wide range of functions
Direct CAD import from STEP, IGES, DWG and over 30 other formats
Embed websites as IFrame also in Govie
For the creation of visually sophisticated visualizations.
A cinematic govie provides the best visual results and uses additional information from the 3D model. This allows animations to be played at the touch of a button or visibilities to be set.
Designed for users with a technical focus in mechanical engineering, architecture, and process representations.
Present your CAD models in an effective Govie with highlighting, explosion and section representations.
Designed for Editor users who want to illustrate showrooms, virtual tours or environments.
With a Panorama Govie you can create 360 ° scenes. Besides the option to link Google Street View photos, any 360° photos can be integrated.
Since version 3.2 it is possible to insert an individual background in Cineastic Govie. This environment then also affects the lighting on the object.
If no 3D models are available, free models can also be inserted directly from the online model library. From this, an interactive web application can now be created with just a few clicks.
In response to customer requests, a range of measuring tools for determining distances and surface areas has been developed.
Using CSS, buttons, menus, text fields and much more can be customized.
From within the Govie Editor you can start, stop, and pause your animation. You can even play just a range of your timeline or play it backwards.
Besides regular keyframe animations , the GLTF format supports armature and shape keys (aka morph targets).
Objects or groups of objects can be hidden or shown using the visibility property. You can add that property to your objects in the 3D-Software of your choice.
For each slide in a Govie, you can change the lighting and background colors. There are several environments to choose from, as well as a custom lighting using sun- or spotlights.
See how it’s done by checking this video demonstration.
To make your models look even nicer, we added some post effects like Depth of Field, SSAO, Bloom, Sobel / Edge Detect, and custom CSS.
Hotspots can be used as interactive Jumpmarks to navigate through your Govie. In addition, they serve as labels or to jump to external pages .

Your dashboard is the starting point for creating and organizing your projects. Get an overview of your projects, see all your workspaces, upload new media to the library, and share or embed your Govie .
For each Govie you can either release a draft or publish the Govie. Either way will get you a share link, but the draft will always leads to the latest version, so people will see any changes you make immediately. Publishing a Govie creates a fixed revision, so you can continue working while users only see that particular status.
Currently, there is no limit to the number of models you can upload. However, the file size is limited to 350 MB. We recommend that you make your file as small as possible to reduce loading times.
More than 30 different formats are supported by our platform, and native CAD formats such as STEP, DWG, DXF or IGES can also be used.
In your Workspace, you can work on the same project with others at the same time! Watch the video for more details.
